Promises to keep!

Hello everybody! I know, I know, I’ve been MIA for way too long so you’re probably wondering about my whereabouts. Well, as Subah explained in her last post, we’ve been working on a lot of things, both on a personal level, and more importantly on the blog so we hope to come back BIGGER, BETTER and STRONGER VERY SOON!

Let’s be honest, I wasn’t planning on posting today, but over the weekend, it suddenly hit me that it’s my birthday tomorrow. Now, birthdays are all about celebrations, evaluations, and setting goals for the following year, and since Feromina is the centre of Subah and my world, it only makes sense that I talk to YOU all the night before I begin my journey of making another revolution around the sun!

A year seems like a long period, and so we often set ourselves numerous targets that we hope to achieve by this time next year… and for those overly organised people like myself, we like to set ourselves mini targets as well. But sooner or later we begin to realise that time has caught up with us and that’s when we begin prioritising, eliminating the less important… or sometimes giving up altogether.

I, like you have also found myself falling behind or getting caught up with other things. But as I turn a year older and a year wiser as they say (although I very much doubt the latter in my case), I am making myself two promises; 1) it’s ok if things don’t go as planned, there’s always option B, C or even D, E, F or G, but MOST IMPORTANTLY, 2) don’t give up no matter what!

You must be wondering if these promises are achievable. I don’t know, but I hope so and I will try my best to achieve them. In fact, why don’t we take this journey together? It’ll be a bumpy ride but I promise that we’ll have a good time and maybe even end up as a stronger and better version of ourselves!

And now… here comes the big question, will I be able to keep my promises? Well, I guess we’ll find out next year, so stay tuned for an update on that! But for now, keep your eyes pierced on this screen as Feromina is about to have a makeover!
